Keep Nico Running!

It has been nearly a year since our beloved Nico began his courageous fight against Singnet Ring Cell Carcinoma. Throughout this journey, he has endured seven surgeries, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. While we won't delve into every detail here, we all know how devastating this disease can be—not only for the person fighting but also for the family members and caregivers who stand by their side. It's a battle that touches so many of us.

We are profoundly grateful to the doctors, surgeons, oncologists, and nurses who have been there every step of the way. And to everyone who has supported Nico—whether through kind words, prayers, or assistance—you have all made a meaningful impact on his journey.

Nico is now at a critical point, transitioning into palliative care. But as ever, he continues to fight, with us all beside him. We are beginning to lean on alternative therapies like ozone therapy and CBD/THC which are vital in easing his pain and increasing his appetite – but they are not covered by insurance.

As Orlagh wrote:

The THC suppositories he is doing reduce inflammation and pain without the high when taken orally. They are key to what will be ongoing palliative care. We are hopeful to have him with us as long and as strong as possible. We all know he is not the average stat. We are optimistic and appreciate all your love and support through this impossible circumstance.”
